| Immunohistochemical detection of arginase-I protein in a porcine coronary arteriole. Panel A: From a cross-section view of an isolated coronary arteriole, the intensity of the background signal (represented by the color pallet) was determined in the fluorescein-labeled vessel without the treatment of primary antibody. Panel B: IN a fluorescein-labeled vessel with the treatment of anti-arginase-I primary antibody, high levels of arginase were detected in both the endothelial (arrow head) and smooth muscle (arrow) cells. |
