M.D. RESEARCH TRAINING

Medical students can participate in research projects after the first year, either during the summer before entering the second year curriculum or as part of an elective block during the fourth year. The College of Medicine supports a combined M.D./Ph.D. degree program for outstanding individuals interested in a career in academic medicine. Opportunities are available for residents and fellows in subspecialty training to conduct research with CVRI investigators. For more information contact the Director of the CVRI.
